Power Flushing in Watford & Hertfordshire
Over time, sludge builds up in heating systems and stops radiators heating properly. A power flush clears it out.
A power flush pumps water and cleaning chemicals through the heating system at high flow to lift sludge, rust and debris out of the radiators and pipework. Afterwards we refill with clean water and add inhibitor to slow future corrosion.
It is often recommended before fitting a new boiler, and it can make an old system noticeably more efficient. If your system does not need one, we will tell you.

How long does a power flush take?
Most take a day, depending on the number of radiators and how much sludge there is.
Will a power flush damage old pipework?
On very old or fragile systems a power flush can expose weak points. We check the system first and suggest a gentler clean if that is the safer option.
